Terms of Service

Last updated: placeholder. Replace with the canonical version supplied by counsel before launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BreakingBad (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BreakingBad helps engineering teams detect breaking API changes across producer and consumer repositories. The Service requires access to your source repositories and API definitions in order to function.

3. Account & access

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may revoke our GitHub App access at any time, which will end the Service for your organization.

4. Subscription & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly per repository under monitoring through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the Settings → Billing page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to access repositories you don't own or have permission to monitor, attempt to disrupt the Service, or violate any applicable law.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to detect breaking changes accurately but cannot guarantee complete coverage of every API surface.
